Wuv yeaw sooo much!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
I have this dependency. I’ve had this for more than 6 years now.
It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s not a good thing either. I can’t start my day without it, and I can’t sleep without it. It’s like a drug that you can’t get out of your system. You always look for it, and you always need it. When I don’t get it, I feel sad, or lonely, or uneasy.
But when I do get it, I can smile all day despite the long work hours, nasty customers, whatever. I know I can face the day. At nights, I sleep so peacefully even if it’s just for 4 hours, and then wake up with a smile on my face.
I love you too, Ozzie. :”>

One of my officemates asked me, “Do you have plans on going back to the Philippines for a vacation?”.
“Hmm, good question. It depends on whether my boyfriend comes here or not. I’d love to go home, though.”, I said.
Then I wondered, should I be calling the US as my ‘home‘? My family is here. I don’t have possessions back there. All I have in the Philippines are my friends (and Ozzie). I guess it never really sank-in that I’m not going back, unless it’s a vacation for a week or two.
Should I accept that I have a new ‘home‘? This is where I’ll be for the rest of my life. I’ve established a new life here. Despite that, I guess I can never replace the Philippines as my home. I can add this country to my list of homes [(by calling home.add(unitedStates)], but I can never remove [home.remove(philippines)] or replace [home.set(0, philippines)] the Philippines. When you print it out, the Philippines is still the first (It’s a list, duh).
They say Home is where the heart is. Well, my heart is still in the Philippines.
Yeah, someday I’ll go back home.

For those of us who won’t be able to celebrate V-Day with their loved ones… today is just a Wednesday.

.
Teehee.
Just so you’d know… I’m happy with my life (after college), except for the fact that I miss my friends (and of course my Ozzie). I miss overnights at NEC to rush projects and papers, going to the lugawan at 3 a.m. in the morning, playing Warcraft (esp. when a certain project’s deadline was extended. Teehee). I miss having our Christmas parties at Paul’s Home (We usually invite ourselves in), birthday celebrations, Valentines + UP Fair parties…. Haaay. The list goes on and on…
Ang tatanda na natin, no? Oh my gosh. Tama ba ko? Freshies ngayon were born 1990?
If I weren’t an S.A. for the department, or for the Webteam, I wouldn’t have met the (NEC) losers and I would have totally missed a lot. Thanks guys! (Senti)
Well, see you guys in Paris in 5 years!

I just miss my Ozzie…
I hope he can send the Pagudpud Pictures soon… *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

A while ago, I woke up, or rather, opened my eyes.
The funny thing is, at that time, I don’t exactly remember if I just blinked or if I fell asleep. It was really weird.
Has that ever happened to you?
Am I that forgetful? Haaaay… Dory na naman.

My Ozzie Beaw took that pictuwe!
My Ozzie Beaw is an amazing photographer!
From flowers (his favorite), to caves, to portraits, to everyday ordinary things (such as a can of Pepsi or my cluttered desk) … he makes them so artsy-fartsy, you’ll be amazed at his skills.
I wish I had artsy-fartsy photography skills too.
(Hmmm… but let’s start wishing for photography equipment first. Teehee. I don’t know which SLR I’ll buy yet. I’ll buy one when Ozzie gets here.)

I created another blog so I could post my personal stuff here. I maintain another blog, http://hunny.wordpress.com.
It was recently added to the DCS blog network.
However, I think there are a lot of things that I’m sure the DCS folks wouldn’t care about. Such as:
What I bought at the mall yesterday,
I didn’t really plan on buying anything. It was just because I went to Best Buy to buy my Ozzie’s WoW expansion.
- A skirt, 2 blouses and a hoodie. They were on sale! Hey, they said I saved $42.
- 3 hand lotions, 2 body lotions, 1 shimmer lotion, 2 shower gels and 2 glycerin soaps at Bath and Body Works. (They were also on sale! I saved $10)
- I was about to buy something at Clinique, but the saleslady said they’ll be giving away ‘free gifts’ (with purchase, of course) starting Thursday. I’ll just go back next Saturday, then.

What I bought at Amazon again
Okay, a lot of those are books, but a lot of them are kikay stuff.
I bought a lot of clothes online. Teehee. Here’s the story: I just wanted three particular jackets. Since the shipping was ~$7, I kinda hesitated. But when I found out that shipping was free when you buy items over $50, I bought a lot of clothes. It cost me way more than $50 though, since the clothes I really wanted were from different sellers (3 x $50minimum) . Uh-oh.
The thing is, there were 2 sweaters that looked horrible. As in hideous. I wanted to return then so I sent several emails asking about the return process. I never got a reply! It’s not Amazon’s fault, but the seller’s fault. Now it’s past the 30-days return period, and I’m stuck with the horrible sweaters. (As in mukha syang basahan)
I was able to exchange a dress I bought online that was too big for me at Target. They have a good return policy. You can return the items (unworn) within 90 days, and you can return the items at any Target store. Nice.
That I hate my new haircut
Darn it! I really hate that Italian guy! This is probably the worst haircut I have ever had. I told him that the layers don’t look nice because there was this one chunk of hair that was waaay longer than the other layers. It was only on the left side of my hair. Plus, he cut my hair way too short. Plus, he never really did the style I wanted. The reason? He said my hair was now too short for the layers I wanted…. Grrrrr!
Me: I think my hair looks weird.
Hairstylist Dude: I’ve been cutting hair for 18 years. If I don’t like it, you don’t like it.
Me (thinking): But I don’t like it! This doesn’t look anywhere near the style I asked you to do. And now you decide what I don’t like?I gave him a good tip anyway. I’d rather go back to Miss Taray at David’s salon. (Who apparently, is not taray anymore. Hahaha. Ozzie and I have this theory that maybe she’s getting some)
That I’m childish and pa-cute
Teehee. Just look at this post’s title. A lot of my friends and former officemates know that that’s my (and Ozzie’s) trademark. Haha. It’s either nacucutan sila or they’ve gone to live with the horrors of my pa-cuteness.
There are a lot of things only Ozzie and my friends would appreciate or even care about. Those posts go here.
I’m just a normal person too, you know.
